Food items are used to replenish your HP supply. If you are close to dying it is recommended that you use some type of food item. Each food item is dfiferent. Food items have a cool down. Anything that is bought from a NPC will require a 2.5 sec wait per usage, while anything you find from monsters will only require 1.5 second of wait.
