Site Moderation
Flyffworld has three tiers of moderation on the site: Moderators, Global Moderators, and Administrators. The team is in charge of moderating the site and answering any questions that members may have about the site. Overall, these people are the peacekeepers of FlyffWorld and will do what is necessary to keep the site running smoothly. Each level of Moderation has a color and name tag:

Administrator
Administrators (Admins) are 3rd in line when there is a problem that neither Mods or Globals can solve. Admins have moderation power over all sections and over the very site itself. It is their responsibility to maintain the future of the site through ideas, site management, and moderator accountability. Admins are able to:
- Warn Members
- Give Infractions
- Edit Posts
- Move Threads
- Lock/Unlock Threads
- Delete Threads
- See All Threads/Forums
- Ban Members
- Track IP Addresses
- Reverse Moderator/Global Moderator decisions
- Make changes to content on site
- Add New Features
- IP Ban
Global Moderator
Global Moderators (Globals) are the next in line when there is a problem an Administrator is unable to handle. Globals have moderation power in all sections and manage the relationships and status of the moderator team. As Globals, they are able to:
- Warn Members
- Give Infractions
- Edit Posts
- Move Threads
- Lock/Unlock Threads
- Delete Threads
- See All Threads/Forums
- Ban Members
- Track IP Addresses
Moderator
Moderators (Mods) are the people that members encounter first when there is a problem. Each Mod has his/her own section(s) that they moderate. Within their section(s) they are able to:
- Warn Members
- Give Infractions
- Edit Posts
- Move Threads
- Lock/Unlock Threads
- Delete Threads
- Ban Members
- Track IP Addresses
Outside of their section, Mods are only able to warn members and give infractions. Other actions call for alerting the Moderator of that forum or contacting a Global Moderator or Administrator.
Criteria For Joining Moderation Team
In the past, the moderator team sought active Premium Members (members with over 800 posts) demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and contributions to the forum. Following discussion and deliberation by the moderator team to select members to nominate, a Private Message will be sent out to individuals asking if they would be interested in a Moderator Position.
In July 2009, the team decided to try a different approach, and created an application for members to complete and vie for a moderator position.

Spam Sentinels
Spam Sentinels were a group of sub-moderators that was started on 1-16-2007. Their sole purpose was to help moderate Spam Central and also as a training ground for future moderators. This group has been disbanded. Spam Sentinels had the same powers as regular moderator but they only had those powers for two weeks at a time in a rotation schedule with the other Sentinels.

GFX Team
The GFX Team was started on 08-23-2006 for the sole purpose of making graphics for the members of FlyFFWworld and helping with any other graphics needs of the site. When the GFX Team was active, members' names were in light blue.
